Weddings!
This is where our journey begins. Dorotea and Marciano were famously married on January 2, 1932. Here's an excerpt from Dorotea's book:
"My wedding was an opulent celebration which took place for two days. The first day consisted of the wedding ceremony and a formal reception with visitors, friends and dignitaries. The second day was solely for the Jakosalem and Calderon family. Our wedding joined two powerful families from different towns - the Jakosalems of Dumanjug and the Calderon's of Samboan."
